Pei was born and raised in South East Asia, relocating on her own to Australia as a young adult. She understands the challenges of relocation, as well as cultural and identity adjustments. Although based in Sydney, she spends a significant amount of time in rural NSW due to her sporting interests and ongoing professional and research interests in child protection and adoption.
Pei is a warm and compassionate psychologist who is committed to creating a safe therapeutic space for each person that she works with. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, holistic, and strength-based to empower her clients in improving their wellbeing and achieving their best selves. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities that are best suited to each individual, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, emotional regulation skills, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy.
Pei has worked in community health and private practice over the last 8 years, including school settings with adolescents, adults, and families. Her areas of interests include anxiety/stress, depression, trauma, health psychology, interpersonal difficulties, domestic violence, and workplace related concerns.
Pei is a Clinical Psychologist registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is a board approved clinical supervisor and is currently completing her PhD in Law. She is a registered Medicare provider.
