Simon has lived and worked in both urban and rural areas, and has a good understanding of both the unique benefits and challenges related to country living.

A strong recovery focus aimed at improving emotional well-being and quality of life, is at the heart of Simon’s approach in working with individuals who may be struggling with a variety of emotional and mental health related challenges. Simon has over 20 years’ experience working in mental health environments across both public and private settings. This has provided him with a range and depth of clinical experience, and the ability to deliver effectively a number of contemporary evidence based psychological therapies that seek to restore hope, meaning and purpose in individuals lives. Additionally, Simon also has post-graduate training in the area of health psychology which primarily focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles and managing adjustment to physical illness and disability.

Simon is registered as both a clinical and health psychologist with the Australian health practitioner regulation agency (AHPRA). He also is registered as a psychology board approved supervisor, is a member of the Australian psychological society (APS), and is registered as a Medicare provider. Simon welcomes referrals from adults who may be experiencing a range of emotional and mental health related conditions or who may not be coping well emotionally with the experience of physical illness and disability.
